We use the Computation Singular Perturbation method for the construction of reduced mechanisms for autoignition and flames. This effort is done in collaboration with colleagues from the Institute of Chemical Engineering Patras,Greece and the University of Lund, Sweden. Mechanisms for heptane (heptane spray) and methane (29th Symposium) have been developed. Reduction work for flames includes timescale analysis for wet flames and new reduced mechanisms for methane with the GRI 3.0 detailed mechanism (GRI3 red mech).
